Kim Bradford
Founder / Independent Licensed Agent - Specializing in Medicare Insurance
Kim Bradford has been helping individuals and families understand their insurance options for nearly four decades. He began his insurance career in 1986 as a Customer Service Representative with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio. In 1988, he joined a local independent insurance agency as a broker, gaining valuable experience helping clients navigate their coverage and resolve concerns.
In 2002, Kim founded Kim Bradford & Associates, LLC with a commitment to providing personalized service, clear information, and ongoing support. Today, his primary focus is helping clients understand and select Medicare insurance coverage.
Kim knows that Medicare and insurance can feel complicated and overwhelming. His approach is to take the time to thoroughly explain the available options, answer questions, and help each client make an informed decision based on their individual needs. He especially enjoys sitting down with people who are beginning the Medicare process, walking them through each step, and helping them feel more comfortable and confident about their coverage. He also values staying connected with existing clients to make sure their plans continue to work well for them.
Kim is licensed to assist clients in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Whether he is helping someone compare plans, understand provider networks, or work through a frustrating claim issue, his goal is for clients to leave feeling relieved and supported.
Born and raised in Swanton, Ohio, Kim continues to call the community home. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time at the lake, camping with friends and family, fishing, woodworking, and cooking. He is always ready to share a good story—or talk about what he is planning to cook for his next meal. Clients visiting the office may also be greeted by Cooper, Kim’s dog and the official office greeter.
Jason Bradford
Partner / Independent Licensed Agent - Specializing in Individual / Family Insurance and Group Benefits
Jason Bradford has been part of Kim Bradford & Associates, LLC since September 2009. As a licensed insurance agent, he works primarily with individual health insurance and small group employee benefits, including life insurance, long-term care insurance, dental, vision, disability, and voluntary or supplemental benefits. Jason has also served as President of the local chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, formerly known as the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Jason believes that education is one of the most important parts of helping clients make confident insurance decisions. His approach is simple: educate, educate, educate. He takes the time to actively listen, understand each client’s needs, and provide clear, unbiased information about the options available to them.
He especially enjoys working with clients who want to better understand their coverage, become informed healthcare consumers, and feel empowered to advocate for themselves when working with insurance carriers and healthcare providers. Jason also helps individuals and businesses explore strategies that may lower their overall healthcare expenses without sacrificing the coverage and support they need.
Jason wants every client to feel heard, understood, and comfortable with the decisions they make. His knowledge of the insurance market allows him to simplify a process that can often feel confusing or overwhelming, while helping clients find solutions that fit their needs and keep costs as manageable as possible.
Originally from Swanton, Ohio, Jason now lives in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Outside of work, his wife and four children are the primary focus of his life. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, walking, running, working in the yard, and gathering with friends and family to play board games. His family also includes a dog and two cats.
Patty Crosby
Business Operations Manager
Patty joined Kim Bradford & Associates, LLC in June 2025 as the agency’s Business Operations Manager. With experience in office management and business operations dating back to 2002, she brings organization, calmness, and dependable support to the team. Patty is also a licensed insurance agent in Ohio.
Often considered the agency’s go-to problem solver, Patty helps manage many of the important details that keep the office running smoothly. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, scheduling, maintaining client information, answering calls and emails, coordinating community outreach, and managing the agency’s website and social media.
Much of Patty’s work happens behind the scenes, but it plays an important role in the client experience. By keeping information organized, accurate, and up to date, she helps the team work more efficiently and confidently. Her goal is to make daily operations less stressful so the agents can focus more of their time and attention on helping clients.
Patty especially enjoys creating a calm and organized office environment. She believes that when operations run smoothly, the entire team feels more relaxed and better prepared to serve clients. Her favorite part of working in a family-run business is getting to see and interact with her family every day.
Born and raised in Swanton, Ohio, Patty still calls the community home. Outside of work, she enjoys camping and traveling with her family, taking long hikes, sitting around the campfire with her husband, and playing board games with friends and family. She has also volunteered as field support with a K9 search and rescue organization.
Patty is also the proud owner of Oliver, an adorable Holland Lop bunny who occasionally makes a special appearance at the office.
Cooper
Official Office Greeter
Cooper will be the first face that you will see when you come into the office as our official client greeter. Joining the team in 2019, he brings an unmatched happiness that only his friendly greeting and tail wags can create.
Cooper’s favorite office activities are barking when a car door is heard, meeting clients right at the door so no one can miss giving him a pet, begging for the occasional treat and sleeping (sometimes snoring) in his personal workspace right next to Kim.
Not much gets past this guy! He will make sure to bring joy to everyone’s day.
When Cooper is not in the office, he enjoys being at home with his family, playing ball in the backyard, and overall relaxing not too far from where Kim is at.
